Alleged pictures of the new “cheap” iPhone has been flourishing around the internet for a while now, and rumors have been going around that this might actually be the real housing of the cheaper version iPhone.
Our wonderful and trustful sources can in fact confirm that this is the real deal and it will be launched very soon. Even though we cannot confirm the date yet.
Surprisingly enough, it doesn’t seem like the phone will be THAT much cheaper than the standard iPhones. But hey, it will be interesting to see if Apple will be able to take back some of the market shares with this new low-end phone.
The Polycarbonate rear housing easily makes people think of the Samsung Galaxy S series phones. The touch feeling of the plastic is smooth, but it collects your fingerprints easily. Being the same size and same color of the iPod touch 5th, the budget iPhone will for sure squeeze the market share of the iPod touch and this is something Apple should have thought about.
